I’ll use this blog to explore a thing or two, or maybe just to collect things so I won’t forget about it myself. The beautiful thing is of course that I can share it with you.

A while back I wrote a blog called “Less is more” and I kinda believe in that, so I’ve posted it here below as well.

Politicians and businessmen are busy saying that we should just buy more products, then the crisis would soon be over. I think that’s absurd, I know that the basics of capitalism is based on the fact that we as people need to buy new products. But we are also living in a time where we have to focus more on sustainability, so I think this strategy is pretty ridiculous. I’ve decided to live different, I don’t need a TV in each room, I don’t need a car and a motorcycle, I don’t need new clothes every week, I don’t need new furniture every year, I don’t need to need. I want some basic things to have a great life, I want really good food, I want great clothes, I want a good computer and a good camera, I want a good bike and a nice place to live. My point is that we need to get more from what we got. Be creative (it will be a great addition to watching TV, I promise!). what can you make out of the things you already got? Why don’t we make ”exchange days” a the local market (update: Freecycle), maybe you can get something in exchange of something you have grown tired of?! Instead of buying ten different things, buy one really great thing, that will actually ad some real value to your life. And while we are at it, use yourself, start training, swimming, boxing, running, whatever. It will give you a positive boost, you will feel more on top of things and save you from illness and what not. Think new businesses, businesses that use what we got, maybe reuse or just simply doesn’t use at all…?!

Less is more – get more from what you already got.
